For progress, we need young people

In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in France, OPENS is organizing a reception at Cultural-Information Centre of the Republic of Serbia in Paris, in order to introduce the wider community with the possibilities for young people in 2019 in Novi Sad, as well as the global and European dimension of this title. Before the reception itself, at the residency of the Serbian embassy, the delegation of OPENS was welcomed by HE the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in France, Nataša Marić.

“Within my work, I really focus on young people a lot. Despite being a cliché – that the young shall inherit world, that is really the truth. I think that our country must go forward and turn to the future. Young people are especially those who should be focused on future, and we, as society, have to be aware of that. I meet a lot of our students here and I realise that young people will not return to Serbia unless they see some perspective. I think that we are on the right track with our work and education”,
the ambassador says.

The idea of the presentation to the embassies and the diplomatic corps of European cities is to create the space for networking and partnership with organisations and institutions in Paris, as well as to inform wider community about the activities in Novi Sad in the year of 2019.
