PLACE2GO ON THE FAIR TOUR

Weekend, early morning and “Gari, take me to Novi Sad” is packed to hit the road towards Zagreb. We are visiting another tourism fair because our mission is to show absolutely every person in the region how exciting this year in Novi Sad is.

The Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Novi Sad Fair and Novi Sad Tourist Organisation presented themselves at the stand of Vojvodina Tourist Organisation along with us, within the mutual presentation.

“Young people very much like our promotional material and how the presentation of European Youth Capital is packed in a lot of colours. The majority knows about Novi Sad and for some things that are happening, but they do not know about everything that we are preparing this year and it is great that we are at places like this one. The majority has been fascinated by the large number of events and opportunities for young people in Novi Sad this year, and we expect to see them in the following months in Novi Sad”, Stanislava Marojević, Programme Coordinator Assistant explains.

The greatest interest of visitors was caused by the offer of wine and ranch tourism, active vacation as well as visits to cities – Novi Sad, Sombor, Subotica and Fruška gora. Last year marked the increase of 15.6% in the number of stays of tourists from Croatia, and the increase of 12.5% of arrivals to our county, in comparison to the year of 2017.

This fair was held in 2012 for the first time, and more than 500 presenters from 34 countries of the world attended it then, while this year, more than 200 presenters from 21 country were there.
