18 YEARS OF FIGHT FROM FREEDOM!

In the year of its “legal age”, EXIT celebrates one of the largest civilisation achievements – personal  freedom, above everything else. EXIT Foundation and OPENS 2019 invite civil society organisations from Novi Sad, Serbia and the whole region to mutually, from one place say: “EXIT is freedom”, at OPENS State of EXIT Zone, at the Petrovaradin Fortress, from 12 to 15 July, where the 18 th edition of
the European best festival will be held.

OPENS State of EXIT Zone will, as before, be interactive and fun. Therefore, organisations should think of the most creative, most entertaining, most appropriate way through which the visitors of the festival will be indicated the significance of different types of freedom.

The organisers will ensure basic working conditions for the selected organisations, as well as the necessary accreditations for two representatives.

The criteria for the selection of the organisations are:
 quality of the program and suitability of the program to OPENS State of EXIT Zone
 previous activities of the organisation in the field of its activity
 connection of the program and the activities with the topics of OPENS 2019 and EXIT Foundations

The decision on which organisations will be presented to the festival audience from the whole world will be made not later than 10 June and published at the official website of EXIT Festival www.exitfest.org , as well as the website of OPENS www.opens2019.rs

Thanks to numerous workshops, panel discussions, music, salsa lessons and regional radio program, which was aired every night from that location, OPENS State of EXIT Zone was one of the most visited zones during the festival last year. Exit is the only festival of such size which was the result of social activism, thus the interactive programs of non-governmental organisations is at the core of the Fortress itself. OPENS State of EXIT Zone is a place where young people from the whole world meet and exchange ideas on regional support and cooperation, which is one of the reasons due to which Novi Sad became the European Youth Capital.
