If you are aged 15 to 30, if you live in Novi Sad and have free time you want to use in a creative, smart and fun way and if you also want to improve your life and the life of the local community – we invite you to join OPENS 2019 volunteers.
The new volunteers along with the active team of volunteers will be allocated at interesting volunteering positions, primarily within the promo team and educational team, as well as the public action team and reports and have the opportunity to contribute to the upcoming activities which will be realised within the OPENS 2019 project.
Filled application should be submitted not later than 4 June at 5 p.m. After the selection, all applicants will be informed, not later than 8 June at 5 p.m.
Being a volunteer in OPENS provides you with the possibility to join and grow along with the rest of the volunteering team, who are here a bit longer:
Participation in the design and implementation of different interesting contents for young people with the purpose of the promotion of OPENS 2019 – Volunteers promoters
Participation in the design and implementation of interesting cultural, educational and creative workshops for young people – Peer Educators Volunteers
Participation in the design and implementation of the activities at different locations in the city, in the form of public actions – Volunteers in action
Participation in the transfer, summarizing and reporting after the held workshops, actions and different interesting events in the city and at OPENS – Volunteers reporters
Who can be a volunteer?
All young people aged 15 to 30, who have motivation and place for working at the volunteering positions, 4 hours a week on average. Young people with creativity, desire to learn and devotion in the realisation of tasks.
If you are aged 15-30, wiling and available, if you have:
readiness to work in a team
openness to new experience and acquaintances
tolerance towards differences
What will a volunteer get by volunteering in OPENS?
knowledge, skills and competences
improvement of environment

Each volunteer should be familiar with his/her rights and responsibilities.
In OPENS, volunteer have the right to:
know everything about the conditions of volunteering, service and activities which will be
performed, rights which belong to them
state their opinions
exit the organisation
be engaged in accordance with the possibilities
be provided professional help and support during volunteering
have a break during volunteering or daily vacation
have a volunteering book
reject to volunteer which is not in accordance with the law or agreement on volunteering
Since these rights bring responsibilities, volunteers are obliged to:
respect the rules
be responsible towards the responsibilities
respect the rights of others
promote the values of the organisation
