OPEN-AIR CINEMA COMPLETED

Between 25th and 30thof June, we had the opportunity to enjoy open-air film screenings. The organizers of the open-air cinema were OPENS and the BIG shopping center. The spectators of the City of Novi Sad enjoyed an interesting film repertoire at the parking lot of the BIG shopping center (Santandrejski put 11) where the big screen was placed. 

The fact that about 500 spectators attended the screening of the films every night (which would mean that about 3,000 spectators watched the open-air cinema during the whole period) confirmed that the citizens of Novi Sad with enthusiasm welcomed this kind of the event in the city.

During the realization of the event, we carefully implemented all safety and disinfection measures for all present.

We are witnessing how culture saved us during the pandemic. In the deficit of cultural content, in cooperation with BIG shopping center, we decided to make the content completely free and accessible to everyone. 

The film screenings were supported by the local media, and also the public service of Radio-Television of Vojvodina. With this event, we made an overture for another unforgettable summer.
