Three year long cooperation with NGOs

Forming a sustainable youth policy system which will encourage and empower  all actors of youth policy to connect with one another, is one of OPENS’s main missions. For this mission to be continued we had to sign contracts for 2020, which is third year in a row, with 38 organizations that will implement 42 programs.

Young people are now able to use opportunities and create content they want to have in Novi Sad, the city that has regulated youth policy system. If we look back just a bit, during 2018 year 42 organizations were implementing OPENS’s program and activities. OPENS had more than 226 activities which included directly more than 30.000 young people. During 2019, the year when Novi Sad was the holder of the EYC title, 44 partner organizations were implementing a part of OPENS’s program. 

Last few months we had to slow down a bit with our work, because of the pandemic, extra caring and safe measures. This situation has slowed down realization of our ideas and our programs but young people still had the opportunity to continue with their activities, if nothing else, online. This way, we encourage active participation of young people in society. Till the end of 2020, we will support and encourage young people in realization of their plans and programs, through usage of different mechanisms, programs, advocacy and hard work.
