THE MEGDAN OF THE CHOSEN ONES

Leeet’s get ready to rumbleeeeee because the Megdan is soon once again in Novi Sad! And if you do not know what this is about, you have missed a lot because it is the greatest sport event in our country!

The only thing specific is that this year, the Megdan is in the European Youth Capital.

This is the manifestation created in 2017 under the sponsorship of the city of Novi Sad, with the intention to enrich the events which make and which has always made our city the capital of young people and culture, apart from EXIT, Tamburica Fest, Sterijino Pozorje…

This year, the Megdan is not just the Megdan, it is “The Megdan of the Chosen Ones” – the largest number of fighters, sportsman and Serbian hopes in sport who will perform on 15 March at the great hall of SPENS. The Megdan is another event which is, apart from sport, the spectacle of light, programme and music. It is another sport and cultural event which gathers the largest number of young people in Novi Sad. The manifestation gathers fighters from Brazil, Switzerland, USA, Croatia, Kirgizstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Peru, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Greece, Slovakia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Poland, Russia, Africa… with, of course, domestic fighters. Also, there will be judges and MMA professions from all around the world.

Novi Sad has proved that the Megdan is opened for all foreigners, races and religious, so the idea of the organisers is to remember 15 March as the day of sport, tolerance, fair play, healthy and positive energy, equality and justice.

After 15 March in Novi Sad, the Megdan will be held three more times this year, in Belgrade and in two other cities in Serbia.

It is time for the fight of giants!
