OPENS ON THE ROAD OPENS THE DOOR

Go through the map from Novi Sad, to Zagreb, Brač, Sarajevo and move on to Banja Luka because you know why – OPENS is on the road again, and we bring the following colourful mural as a gift.

The purpose of the “OPENS ON THE ROAD OPENS DOOR” project is to promote peace and friendship among young people in the region, as well as to inspire people in the region to actively participate in their communities, as well as their innovation and creativity”, Valentina Antić, International Cooperation Coordinator says.

So, we continue with the last year’s campaign of peace and friendship in Banja Luka, and by the end of the year, we will have visited 4 more cities in the region and open the door of Novi Sad to all young people. During the weekend (20 and 21 April), in Banja Luka, colourful OPENS team is painting the murals with the artist Petar Petrović PIROS!

During the painting of the last mural at the beginning of September, guests and artists from the entire region will come to Novi Sad to paint our city. This way, OPENS wants to encourage young people to actively participate in tidying up their local community by adjusting the city to the taste and needs of young people.

By this activity, we will encourage the development of different street arts and invite young people from Europe and the region to visit Novi Sad. Each mural is a puzzle of a large puzzle – which will be presented at the end of 2020 at an exhibition.
