REGIONAL YOUNG LEADERS FORUM

For three days, Novi Sad has become the host of the fourth Regional Young Leaders Forum. This is an annual conference which gathers 200 young provocative and socially engaged individuals from the region of the Western Balkans. Young people will discuss about significant social topics and challenges with the current creators of policies.

“Events of this kind are an excellent opportunity for networking and showing an example of good practice, both in Serbia and in the region. I want to hear appreciated and good speakers and to meet young leaders. I think that an atmosphere should be reached where those who are current decision-makers can be available for us, young people. I think this is an exceptional opportunity and honour”, a participant from Novi Sad says.

European Youth Capital – OPENS 2019 supports the organization of the Forum which gathers a large number of young people. For three days, they are given the opportunity to meet the president, the prime minister and representatives of institutions, their duties and responsibilities.

“We are looking forward to the open discussion and we hope that young people will have the opportunity to get the answers to all questions asked during these three days. I think that this will be an amazing opportunity for all participants. This is an event with tradition now, and we hope that the cooperation will be continued in the future, too”, Nataša Igić, OPENS Institution Cooperation Coordinator says.

Young people have the chance to ask questions and to join the open discussion with both decision-makers, as well as to exchange their own opinions, thoughts and ideas. Novi Sad has welcomed young people from the entire Serbia, as well as Macedonia, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
