THE SECOND OPENS FUNDCON FINISHED

We Have Found the Ultimate Fundraiser

The second fundraising congress – OPENS FundCon under the slogan “MISSION (IM)POSSIBLE” has been finished. The congress gathered corporate social companies, foundations, embassies, representatives of EU funds and civil society organisations.

“We, as a youth organization, understand how we can be support for young people from the community, and the role of OPENS is the open door and the support. In that manner, we show people that someone is listening to their ideas and that there is the need for their ideas to be implemented”, Vukašin Grozdanović, OPENS Coordinator explains.

For the three days of the Congress, the three topics have been processed by different speakers from Tomas Susedik from LinkedIn, through the lectures from two UNova agencies (UNIDO and UNICEF) from the lectures from VIP, Smart Kolektiv, Execom, Catalyst and a low of others who have managed to transfer young people tricks of successful business.

“Everything went very well and we worked on some practical things, which was the most valuable thing. The most important part was the practical part where we had a particular task to analyse the colleague through all aspects which we went through at the master class”, Dušan Bogdanović, a participant says.

On the first day, the story about successful marketing was circling around the halls, the second day was dedicated to fundraising, while the third day was dedicated to human resources. The program was intended primarily to the representatives of civil society organizations from Serbia, youth offices but also the representatives of companies which want to launch corporate social business, representatives of institutions as well as individuals which deal with project management.

“It is quite challenging to adjust the topic to different organizations which are present at the lecture. I think the conference went well because it is important to share knowledge and experience. There is nothing we can lose, and there is a lot we can get if we gather and share knowledge at places like this”, the lecturer Goran Stojanović before AIESEC says.
During these three days, the participants had the chance to obtain knowledge, ideas and contacts, as well as to hear a lot about different support programs.
