YOUNG PEOPLE WITH GREAT HEARTS

The largest multimedia quiz Young people Large Deeds was held at the Liberty Square in Novi Sad. European Youth Capital Novi Sad has created the largest polygon for the play. For one night, the facade of Vojvođanska Banka of 300m2 was a large canvas – through mapping, multimedia performances and interactive web application, with telephones, knowledge and desire to play, Novi Sad has made the most massive quiz in the world.

“We could not have imagined what dimension all of this would have gotten. We had rehearsals for several nights, people were passing by, asking, watching, but the energy that appeared on Sunday surprised us. Cheering, screams, applauses, thousands of people who are staring and participating were encouraging from the very beginning. The large team is behind the quiz, the large team of young people and these are our great deeds”, Ivana Miloradov, OPENS PR explains.

The topic of the quiz was symbolic and significant for Novi Sad. It was about famous citizens of Novi Sad who have moved the boundaries in the fields in which they worked from the very beginning and thereby shown that Novi Sad has always had great young people.

“The idea was to promote youth as the time within which young people have their rights and possibilities to create great deeds and positive changes in the society. By showing the famous historical people who were successful in different fields when they were young, we demystify that the field of success and creation is the time of maturity”, Sonja Petrović, the director of the spectacle says.

Through the entire concept of the quiz, young people learnt about famous people of Novi Sad, whose biographies they will remember for a long time, thanks to the unusual animation.

“I have come to learn something new about Novi Sad and people who did a lot of great things for my city. The impressions are great, animation, sound and energetic people are something that is cannot be missed. It is important to know about young people who have done something good for our city and the entire country. Maybe their stories will motivate us to do something for our city and country, too”, one of the participants of the quiz says.

The plan was for the winner of the quiz to get the prize trip of 1000 EUR, however, since he did not show up after the announcement, it was decided that the prize be donated to Svratište za decu i mlade of Novi Sad.
